BEKB smartLogin is a secure and convenient authentication method created by Kantonalbank AG (BEKB | BCBE) for their clients to access their online banking services.

Instead of using traditional login methods such as passwords or security tokens, BEKB smartLogin relies on a mobile device with the BEKB smartLogin app installed. Clients scan a QR code displayed on the web page they want to access, which prompts the app to generate a one-time password that is used to authenticate the user.

This method provides an added layer of security, as the one-time password is only valid for a short period of time and cannot be reused. It also eliminates the need to remember or store multiple passwords, making the login process more convenient for clients.
